Hip City Records has been trading for over 20 years, selling LPs, 45s, EPs, and 12″. We also stock some CDs. We specialise in Northern soul, Motown, Reggae, RnB, and 60s, 70s & 80s rock and pop. Our aim is to provide a variety of vinyl records in Essex as well as online. We also have our sister shop in Shanklin on the Isle of Wight.

Where to find us . . .
We are situated just off the A130 at Battlesbridge antique centre in Essex. There are over 140 antique shops here as well as our record shop situated inside Cromwell house in Maltings road. (Large white building) There are several pubs and cafes too so why not make it a day out for the family. Record shopping antique shopping and have some good food too. Or if you're visiting the Isle of Wight our sister shop is at 6B Cross Street Shanklin.
